Vink Groep finds new partner for the future in FIELDS Group

The shareholders of Vink Groep of Katwijk, South Holland, have sold their shares to FIELDS Group, an entrepreneurial investor focused on further developing companies with potential. Vink Groep has found an investor in FIELDS Group that brings experience and knowledge in addition to capital. The experience of FIELDS Group combined with the existing foundation of Vink Groep provide an excellent starting position for building further growth.

Vink Groep is a family-owned company with 145 in-house employees and more than 200 external employees who together realize a turnover of 40 million euros. The company was founded in 1971 by Mr. Ed Vink sr. and over the years has become the market leader in the Netherlands in design, production, supply and installation of air technology infrastructure for various end markets.

Due to the solid growth that the company has experienced, the shareholders jointly decided to work with Marktlink Fusies & Overnames to look for a strong financial partner who can guide and professionalize the company in its next growth phase.

Nico van Duijn of Vink Groep: “With the help of a team of driven specialists, we have allowed this company to grow both in size and services. This has built a strong and dynamic company that serves as a foundation for further growth. As a result, we can confidently hand over the proverbial baton to FIELDS Group.” Dealmaker Fredrik Jonker of Marktlink Mergers & Acquisitions said, “Given the current size and market position of the company, the current shareholders have laid a strong foundation to realize the next phase of growth. In doing so, the company faces a number of strategic choices that will determine its future growth direction.”

From December 9, Dick Kremers (56) will take office as the new CEO of the Vink Groep. Dick has been working in engineering for more than 30 years as an end manager at home and abroad in installation engineering, project organizations and manufacturing companies.

Dick Kremers: “Vink Groep has great potential to grow in turnover and results in the existing and future market of air and climate technology. The demand for an optimal indoor climate for people and products is only becoming more important and topical. Project efficiency, innovation, sustainability and flexibility are the main drivers of this development.” Joris van Gils, partner at FIELDS Group, adds: “Vink Groep has experienced strong development in recent years and there is a great foundation on which we can build. The current economic climate as well as the enormous focus on air quality provide opportunities for Vink Groep to further strengthen and expand its position in the market in the coming period.”

In FIELDS Group, the Vink Groep finds an entrepreneurial hands-on investor with offices in Amsterdam and Munich. Together with management, FIELDS supports the further development of its companies.

Woerden-based VHS Ventilation and Highwork Systems division is not part of the acquisition. The interest in this company held by Vink Groep B.V. was transferred in March to its co-shareholder, the Van der Voort family.
